Breakfast and Out of School Clubs

Breakfast club and OOSC are ran by Miss Driskell. Both clubs are staffed by teaching assistants from school, therefore it is highly likely every child when starting will know some of the staff.

Our clubs are held in a secure mobile classroom on the school grounds. It has a full range of resources to aid development, support learning and to help children relax before and after school. Activities are often planned for children if they wish to partake. We also have access to the playground, field, trim trail and sports equipments.

Breakfast club is open from 8am until 9am at the cost of £1.50 per morning. Foundation and infant children attending are escorted over to school for 9am whilst junior children join their class line on the playground.

We provide choices of a balanced breakfast. Children can enjoy toast, cereal, fruit, milk, fruit juice and water. Breakfast stops being served at 8.30am.

Breakfast club is a popular, busy service that we provide. Every term a text is sent to inform parents/carers who have requested a letter to fill in for dates they require for the next term and what day to expect the letter on. Due to the popularity of Breakfast club we do run a first come first serve basis termly.

We have recently taken over the running of OOSC which opens from 3.30pm until 6pm. From 3.30pm until 4.30pm the cost is £4.50 per child, 3.30pm up to 6pm is £9 per child. Children who attend, meet in the school hall at the end of the school day. Foundation children are escorted by a member of staff. The children are marked in and walk across with the staff to the OOSC building. Bookings for OOSC can be made through the school office, which is passed on to Miss Driskell.

WE REQUIRE NOTICE AS TO WHETHER A CHILD WILL NOT BE ATTENDING BREAKFAST CLUB OR OUT OF SCHOOL CLUB WHEN BOOKED IN. FAILURE TO DO THIS COULD RESULT IN YOUR CHILD LOSING THEIR PLACE.
