What is Pupil Premium?
The Pupil Premium is aimed at Reception to Y6 pupils who are from low income families and are eligible for Free School Meals (FSM). This category now includes any child who has been registered for FSM in the past 6 years (known as ‘Ever 6 FSM’).
2021/2022
Pupil Premium Grant provides funding for two policies:
Raising the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and diminishing the difference with their peers
Supporting children and young people with parents in the regular armed forces
The PPG per pupil for 2021-2022 is as follows:

Looked After Children (LAC)
Children adopted from care under the Adoption and Children Act 2002 and children who have left care under a Special Guardianship or Residence Order

Service children
Pupils in Year Groups R to 11 recorded as Ever 4 Service Child or in receipt of a child pension from the Ministry of Defence.
